What if I already have broadband service?
Your existing broadband connection may be sufficient for
both voice and data usage, but if it's not, you will need
to add our voice-ready broadband options of SDSL, Cable, or
T1. The only way to know is to try, which is why we recommend
using our free trial period to understand how your existing
network will perform.
Can I use your broadband service for voice and data?
You can use it for voice and data, or you can dedicate
it for your SIP phones if you want to run a separate voice
network. It will simply depend on your existing data traffic
and how many SIP phones you will be installing in your premise.
For more than ten phones, we highly recommend that you have
a dedicated LAN and use our dedicated, voice-ready DSL or
T1 service.
What kind of broadband services do you provide?
We provide ADSL, SDSL, and cable service for the SOHO
and fractional, burstable, and full T1 for the small and medium
enterprise. All use VBR (variable bit rate) ATM services to
offer better quality of service for your VoIP-based data.
It takes about five working days to get our service to your
local office and because we only focus on business customers,
you are getting business quality connectivity.
Why would I want to use a dedicated connection for VoIP?
You don't need to, but we recommend it if you are using
more than ten phones and you are heavy users of Internet access.
VoIP today will give you excellent quality of service but
the weakest link may turn out to be your local area network
and your overly busy broadband connection.
