Frequently Asked Questions About Our Collaboration

What is collaboration about?
Collaboration allows you to get the job done without leaving your desktop or terminal. One can collaborate either via web-browser collaboration or via desktop-application sharing. Each has its place depending on the job.

How does web collaboration work?
Web collaboration allows Worksmart users to push web pages and even sophisticated functions such as demonstrating web-based applications, showing web-based presentations, and even web-based education. It works point-to-point or among a web conference session with many users with moderator controls.

What is desktop collaboration?
The Desktop/Application collaboration allows the sharing and showing of all or part of a desktop to permit shared viewing and even remote modifications. It also includes a drawing toolbar to perform on screen "whiteboarding". In short, collaboration is the next best thing to actually being there.

Will MedXPro collaborate anywhere?
Yes it should work just about anywhere there's a broadband connection, even through most high security networks that will block most applications. This is because we developed our own collaboration protocol that will negotiate with firewalls and redirect itself to work through ports that the firewall will permit. Your users, patients, and even remote consultants can finally collaborate without expensive VPNs or exposed firewalls.

Is it secure so I can communicate sensitive data?
Yes, MedXPro allows your employees to collaborate over your own virtual collaboration network that is secure. Desktop sharing is always encrypted for you automatically by our servers. When using our web collaboration service, you must use SSL-driven web pages to ensure real-time encryption.
